Introduction

The purpose of nursing thesis writing is to present my own proficiency in presenting academic research and executing academic communication in both a written and verbal manner. The thesis demonstrates the mastery of a person regarding a particular subject area and their ability to independently present knowledge regarding it. During the writing of the thesis, the retrieval skills are improved and facilitate the critical as well as analytical thinking of an individual to be developed. It also strengthens the argumentation skills of a person that is required more effectively in the particular field in presenting acceptance of own valuable ideas at work.

Steps to consider for writing a thesis

1. The process of writing a thesis initiates with choosing the research topic. It is expected of you to propose a topic that is general in terms and is of interest to all in the field of study. The idea regarding the study topic for the thesis can be developed by researching valuable information in the currently published journal and articles. The topic to be chosen for the thesis is to be identified based on personal interest, own resources, availability of source material, presence of data, the scientific importance of the topic, general social interest for the topic, and the importance of the topic in your professional career.

2. After the choice of the study topic for the thesis or nursing assignment, the next step is achieving familiarity with the existing evidence regarding the topic in framing the literature. In evaluating the existing information, it is your duty to identify the viewpoints regarding the topic already being discussed and the nature of the research method used in presenting them. The strength of the knowledge presented regarding the topic is to be evaluated in the process as it helps to draw the essential understanding of the way to present the literature review for the topic in the thesis. The strength of the studies is also to be identified to determine which of them are potential to be added in framing the thesis.

3. The next step is writing the preliminary plan for the thesis. It followed mentioned table of content, images, and figure in the study. After the initial part, the introduction is to be written which is required to specify the purpose of the topic to lead the readers to understand the theme of the thesis and make their interest to be aroused in reading the thesis.

The introduction section is required to include information regarding the background of the study and highlight the importance of the research. It also required to include the rationale for the topic to lead the readers to understand the reason behind the specific topic being chosen in witting the thesis while there were various topics present in the field of research. A correlation of the value of the research with the existing data is to be mentioned. A roadmap for presenting the thesis is also required to be mentioned.

5. In the next part of outlining the research, a theoretical framework is to be created in which the key terms and concepts to be presented in the thesis are to be informed. The theoretical approaches for the topic are to be mentioned. The review of the empirical studies related to the topic is to be informed. The positioning of the thesis regarding the research field is to be explained and the hypothesis to be tested is to be informed. The data and research method section in the thesis is to describe and justifies the way data is to be collected.

The description of the method to be used in formulating the study is to be mentioned clearly and transparently so that the reader can understand the way the study is intended to be developed. The reason for using each method in developing the study is to be informed. The way ethical consent in the study is to be maintained is to be informed so that it can be ensured that the thesis is executed by following all the moral and legal protocols et for research studies. The data analysis is the next chapter to be written which is the most essential section in the thesis because it contains a details description of the data to be used in explaining the raised problem in the study. The results are to be reported by reflecting the theoretical framework developed in the study.

After that, a summary of the thesis is to be written where the key points from the study are to be mentioned. A developed discussion of the results is to be presented in the thesis while explaining the way the results have resolved the raised problem. The summary also mentions to the extent which the problem in the study is resolved and future research which can be developed based on the thesis.

Conclusion

A detailed review of the references used in framing the study is to be made to ensure the bibliography is effectively presented. The references act as support for the readers to be referred to understand the facts presented in the study. The appendices are to present the critical review of the studies used in framing the thesis along with the quality appraisal of the studies.
